History of the Clergy Support Memorial Church

The Church developed out of a ministry of advocacy on behalf of clergy from various Christian religious traditions who were in conflict with, or being treated unfairly by, their  original church bureaucracy or congregation. This ministry of advocacy began in 1979.

Since that time, the mission, ministry and activities of the Church have expanded significantly. In particular, the Church has been active in Christian worship in Canada since 1994.

The Church was officially incorporated pursuant to the Canada Corporations Act, RSC 1970, c C-32, effective May 27, 1997, under the name “All Seasons Church of Canada”, headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario.

In 2011, the Church officially changed its name from the All Seasons Church of Canada to the present “Clergy Support Memorial Church”.
